WEDNESDAY:
I’m doing the DJ Locals Showcase at the amazing U Street Music Hall. There are going to be so many awesome friends DJing on Wednesday with me. Our sets are short, but it’s going to be awesome. If you wanna see me DJ I’ll be on from 9:50-10:15 (and also Bil Todd and Bradley Portnoy are directly before me, making a fearsome gay DJ triumvirate from 9-10:15). RSVP on facebook, please.
THURSDAY:
As you may have heard, my dear friend and the guy who game me my freaking start in DJing, Eric Hirshfield has sold his bar, The Duplex Diner, to longtime bartender Kevin Lee. It’s an exciting time for everyone in my Duplex Diner family! Kevin starts renovations this week, so there will be a floating Duplex Diner Thursday party for the next month. I’m DJing the first traveling party across the street at the incredible new bar Jack Rose! It will be just like a Thursday at Duplex, just at an awesome whiskey bar.
FRIDAY:
My amazing friends and DJs Shea Van Horn and Bil Todd are having me guest DJ Raw on Friday at the Green Lantern. Here’s how Bil & Shea almost got me to tear up: “In honor of America’s independence, we’ve invited our friend & local DC disc jockey DJ TMY to warm up the main floor. His talents are future, his thinking is forward. Plus, he’s an adorable cub with a disposition as sweet as apple pie, so get there between 10-11:30 and soak up some of his sugar. ” Isn’t that so sweet of them? RSVP on FB, please.
SATURDAY:
Saturday I’m back at my regular digs at Tabaq. I haven’t been DJing there as much lately, because I’ve been DJing some other cool events like BYT’s vitaminwater uncapped closing party, Cobalt’s Bare Party, and Maison, of course. So this past Saturday was a homecoming of sorts, and it was really really fun. I have to admit I missed it a bit! This weekend should be nuts!
SUNDAY:
It’s a holiday weekend, which only means one thing: there’s a WTF party at Town! Awesomely, Aaron and Ed have asked me back to DJ this Sunday night! Flyer and FB invite to come.
MONDAY:
